THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS 

A 48-year-old male resident reported that he woke to find his vehicle on blocks with the tires and wheels missing. He discovered the theft at 6:58 AM at his place of residence in the 2900 block of Mcfarlin Boulevard. 

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS 

A 43-year-old male resident reported that someone stole the four wheels and tires from his vehicle between 11:00 PM on Sunday and 7:30 AM on Monday. His vehicle was parked outside his residence in the 3400 block of Centenary Drive when the theft occurred. 


MAY 16

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS 

A 46-year-old female resident reported that an unknown person had stolen the side mirror of her vehicle while it was parked outside of her residence in the 4200 block of Colgate Avenue. The theft occurred between 10:00 PM on Monday and 7:30 AM on Tuesday. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A UPS driver reported that a white male entered his UPS truck while he was delivering a package and stole his cell phone from inside. The theft occurred at approximately 4:50 PM while the UPS driver was on a delivery in the 6900 block of Snider Plaza. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 41-year-old man reported that his vehicle was burglarized while he was eating at the Cafe Brazil located at 6420 N. Central Expressway. An unknown person broke the passenger side window and took a bag at approximately 11:34 PM. 


MAY 17

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY FUGITIVE INTENT/GIVING OF FALSE INFORMATION 

At approximately 8:31 AM, police responded to call concerning a suspicious person in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane. The subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant and failure to identify fugitive. 


MAY 18 

FORGERY 

A subject attempted to cash a fake check at the Bank of America in the 6900 block of Hillcrest Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 AM. 

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING 

Police arrested a subject who had received a criminal trespass warning in the past. The arrest took place at the Cafe Brazil off of Central Expressway at approximately 7:40 PM. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

Two female residents (ages 32 and 26) reported that a man entered their home and took a cellphone, then became belligerent and violent towards them. The incident occurred at their place of residence in the 4500 block of Emerson Avenue at approximately 10:40 PM. 


MAY 19

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS 

A 52-year-old male resident reported that an unknown suspect took the tires and rims from his vehicle without consent between 1:00 AM and 6:30 AM. The vehicle was parked outside of his home in the 2800 block of Westminster Avenue.

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A 23-year-old man reported that someone took his computer from his house without his consent. The theft occurred at some point between 12:00 AM on Wednesday and 12:00 AM on Friday in the 3400 block of Asbury Avenue. 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

Police arrested a suspect for driving while intoxicated after he struck a parked vehicle in the 3300 block of Purdue Street at approximately 11:40 PM. 


MAY 20 

CRIMINAL TRESPASS IN HABITATION 

A 67-year-old female resident reported that one of her neighbors entered her home in the block of 4500 University Boulevard without consent. The neighbor entered through the front door at approximately 6:15 PM. 


MAY 21

THEFT UNDER $100 

A 50-year-old male resident reported that four turtles were stolen from his backyard in the 4300 block of Bryn Mawr Drive by an unknown suspect between 7 AM on Friday and 10 AM on Sunday. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE PARTS 

A 36-year-old male resident reported that an unknown person broke into his vehicle at approximately 4:00 AM and stole his third-row seat. The burglary occurred while the vehicle was parked in the 3100 block of Westminster Avenue.
