BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
At approximately 8:35 AM, police responded to a burglary of a motor vehicle in the 3100 block of St. John's Drive. The female victim reported that an unknown subject entered her vehicle, rifled through her things, and stole her insurance card.
MAY 16
FAILURE TO LEAVE ID AT ACCIDENT
At approximately 1:35 PM, police responded to an incident in the 3400 block of Mockingbird Lane. A female victim reported that an unknown white Mercedes struck her vehicle but fled the scene when she asked for insurance.
MAY 17
BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
Police were dispatched to the UPS Store in the 4800 block of Lemmon Avenue to respond to a burglary at 2:05 PM. A male victim reported that someone had broken the rear driver's window of his truck and taken more than $2,000 in cash as well as check books and receipts. It is possible that the burglar followed the victim back from the Bank of America on Lemmon Avenue where he withdrew the cash.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
At approximately 1:45 PM, police responded to a theft at the Tory Burch store located at 17 HPSV. The manager stated that an unknown suspect grabbed four items from the store and left without paying.
THET OF PROPERTY
Police were dispatched to Deno's at HPSV #62 in response to a reported theft. The reporting person stated that at approximately 3:53 PM, an unknown woman entered the store and stole an evening purse.
MAY 18
THEFT OF PROPERTY
Police responded to a reported theft in the lobby of HPDPS in the block of 4700 Drexel Drive. The reporting person stated that his daughter had been shopping inside Anthropology at approximately 10:30 AM when she misplaced her phone. She returned to find it gone and no employees had found it. They were able to locate the phone via Find My iPhone and reported it stolen after its location was established as an apartment complex.
DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY
At approximately 10:17 AM, police responded to a report in the block of 4800 Douglas Avenue. A truck driver drove through a tight space and caused damage to two victim's property. He ignored warnings and also damaged a gas meter and utility pole.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
At approximately 5:53 PM, a male victim reported that an unknown woman had stolen two flower pots from his front porch in the block of 4200 Potomac Avenue.
MAY 19
A female victim reported that between 9:00 AM and 6:15 PM her wallet was stolen from her purse. Her debit card was inside, and several unknown pending charges had occurred in the time since it was stolen.
MAY 20
THEFT OF PROPERTY
Police responded to a theft report in the block of 4700 Abbott Avenue. The female victim reported that an unknown person stole her bicycle while it was parked and locked up outside of her apartment complex between 12:00 PM on May 17 and 9:00 AM on May 20.
