UP POLICE BLOTTER: May 29 - June 4

MAY 29

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A 29-year-old male resident reported that an unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle and took property without permission. The suspect also took the victim's credit card and made fraudulent purchases. The burglary occurred between 6:30 PM on May 28 and 8:30 AM on May 29 while the vehicle was parked outside of the victim's residence in the 3400 block of Lovers Lane. 


MAY 30 

BURGLARY OF BUILDING 

Police responded to a reported break-in at the Preston Road Pharmacy at 3:54 AM. An unknown suspect forced entry into the property and stole from the pharmacy. 

BURGLARY OF BUILDING 

Police responded to a reported break-in at a car wash in the 6800 block of Preston Boulevard. The burglary occurred at approximately 3:00 AM when an unknown suspect broke the window and entered the business to take property without consent. 


MAY 31

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A 23-year-old female resident reported that an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle while it was parked outside of her residence in the 3400 block of Mcfarlin Boulevard. More than $2,000 worth of luggage was stolen from the victim's vehicle between 11:00 PM on May 30 and 8:00 AM on May 31. 


JUNE 1

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

A 71-year-old female resident in the 4000 block of Amherst Street reported that an unknown suspect attempted to open a travel rewards card using her Social Security Number. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A 19-year-old female resident reported that her bicycle was stolen from the carport of her residence in the 6200 block of St. Andrews Drive. The theft occurred between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. 


JUNE 2

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE 

A couple in their forties reported that their vehicle was removed from a parking garage in the 4000 block of Wentwood Drive through unknown means and without their permission. The incident occurred between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. 


JUNE 3

BURGLARY OF BUILDING 

A 45-year-old female resident reported that property was stolen at some point overnight from a house undergoing construction in the 4500 block of Mockingbird Lane. The theft occurred between 8:00 PM on June 2 and 6:45 AM on June 3. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A 70-year-old man reported that his bicycle was stolen from the 6000 block of Preston Road. The theft occurred between 2:00 PM and 2:45 PM. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

A 51-year-old male resident stated that an unknown subject used his SS number, date of birth, and address to purchase three cell phones and have them delivered. The reporting person lives in the 4300 block of Standford Avenue and noticed the fraudulent activity at 3:19 PM. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A 72-year-old male resident reported that an unknown suspect removed the outside rearview mirrors from his vehicle. The theft occurred between 5:00 PM on June 2 and 5:15 PM on June 3 while the vehicle was parked outside of his residence in the 4100 block of Southwestern Boulevard. 


JUNE 4

BURGLARY OF HABITATION 

A 22-year-old male resident reported that he left town for two weeks and returned to find that someone had taken all of his belongings out of his apartment in the 3300 block of Daniel Avenue without permission. The burglary occurred between midnight on May 17 and 12:54 PM on June 4. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A 53-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle and stole her son's wallet. The burglary occurred while the car was parked outside of her residence in the 4400 block of Mcfarlin Boulevard between 11:00 PM on June 3 and 1:00 PM on June 4. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

Police responded to a reported theft of property at the CVS in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane. The reporting person stated that two subjects exited the store at 4:26 PM without paying for the merchandise they took. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

Police responded to a reported theft in the 3400 block of Granada Avenue. A 46-year-old male resident stated that an unknown person had taken a pair of Rayban sunglasses from the front porch of his residence at approximately 10:55 PM.
