AUGUST 28

FRAUDULENT FINANCIAL STATEMENT

A victim stated that her ex-husband signer her name on a loan without her permission. 

FRADULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

A suspect fraudulently applied for and was approved for a credit card while using another person's social security number. 

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA 

At approximately 12:31 PM, officers were patrolling the 6800 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard when they detected the odor of marijuana. Upon further investigation, they arrested a nearby subject for possession of the drug. 

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

An officer responded to a credit card abuse call at De Boulle on Preston Road. A female suspect made a large purchase with a fraudulent credit card. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A resident in the 3100 block of Bryn Mawr Drive recently discovered pieces of jewelry were missing and most likely taken from her during a home move in July. 

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE 

A citizen reported a hit and run accident where the suspect failed to stop and exchange information. The incident occurred in the 7500 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard at approximately 5:00 PM. 

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A crash occurred in the 7300 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard and the suspect left without stopping to exchange information. The victim's vehicle was severely damaged in the crash, which occurred around 6:00 PM. 


AUGUST 29 

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID WITH PREVIOUS SUSPICION 

A traffic stop was initiated for a vehicle equipment violation in the 4000 block of Southwestern. Upon further investigation, the driver was arrested for outstanding warrants and while driving with an invalid license. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A victim stated that an unknown person, without permission, removed the third-row seats from her vehicle while it was parked in the 4000 block of McFarlin Boulevard. 

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE 

A suspect drove the wrong way on a one-way street, resulting in a crash in the 3300 block of University Boulevard around midnight. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

Officer responded to a burglary of a vehicle that occurred on August 27 and 29 in the 3500 block of Asbury. A subwoofer was taken from the backseat of the victim's vehicle. 


AUGUST 30 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

An unknown suspect hacked into the victim's airline account and stole several hundred thousand miles. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A victim's son sold an item on eBay, which was paid for by fraudulent means. 


AUGUST 31

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An unknown suspect removed construction material from the front lawn of the victim's home in the 4300 block of Amherst Street. 

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID WITH PREVIOUS SUSPICION 

A suspect was stopped for a traffic violation in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane at approximately 11:15 AM. The suspect was then placed in custody for driving with an invalid license and having three warrants-outside agency. 


SEPTEMBER 3

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

An officer responded to the 3000 block of Amherst Street at approximately 7:00 AM in regards to a possible theft of auto accessories.
