JULY 17

IDENTITY THEFT 

Police were dispatched to the HPDPS lobby to meet with a victim who stated that her identity had been stolen. It appears that an unknown person opened a Direct TV account with her information (and without her permission). 


JULY 18

FAILURE TO LEAVE ID AT ACCIDENT 

At approximately 5:00 PM, police were dispatched to the HPDPS at 4700 Drexel Drive to take a walk-in report of a failure to leave identification at an accident. The victim stated that between 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM on June 23, someone had collided with her parked and unattended vehicle, then failed to leave any information at the scene. 


JULY 20

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 11:00 AM, police were dispatched to the Dallas Country Club in response to a reported theft. The victim stated that her wallet was stolen the previous day at approximately 1:00 PM from the Whole Foods at 4100 Lomo Alto Drive. She had left the wallet in the basket she had used to carry her goods, and when she returned 20 minutes later to retrieve it, it had been taken. 

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A victim reported that he was stopped at the intersection of Drexel Drive and Byron Avenue when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle backing into the front of the car. The other vehicle fled the scene without leaving any information. The incident occurred at roughly 12:00 AM. 


JULY 22

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A police officer responded to the 4200 block of Mockingbird Lane to investigate a burglarized vehicle at approximately 10:57 AM. Witnesses stated that they had seen unknown suspects stealing tools from the cargo area of a work van by a construction site. 

IDENTITY THEFT 

At approximately 3:54 PM, police responded to the 3500 block of Princeton Avenue in response to a reported Identity Theft. The victim stated that he received a notice from a credit card company that someone had tried to open an account in his name on June 29. He quickly froze his credit card accounts and secured his bank accounts.
