FEBRUARY 20 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

At approximately 9:07 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Lomo Alto Drive on a BMV call. The victim stated that at some point between 1:00 PM the day before and 7:30 AM, her vehicle was entered without permission. Two documents were taken and the contents of her car had been strewn around. One of the documents taken was from the victim's bank, so she put a hold on her account. 


FEBRUARY 21 


BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

An officer was dispatched to the 4700 block of Drexel Street in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. The victim informed police that his vehicle had been broken into while parked on the driveway of his residence the 3600 block of Dartmouth Avenue between 6:30 PM on February 20 and 7:40 AM on February 21. The security cameras on the victim's house revealed a white male walking up to the car at 4:00 AM. He entered the vehicle, stole the victim's knife, then left the scene. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

At approximately 11:24 Am, an officer was dispatched to a report of damage to a vehicle in a Whole Foods' parking lot. The reporting party stated that his vehicle had been damaged while he was working inside the store. It appears that a blade or razor of some sort was used to scratch the rear driver's side door and gas filler cover. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An officer was dispatched to the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive in response to a reported theft. The victim stated that she believed her wallet was stolen while she was shopping at Whole Foods Market and left her cart unattended. 

IDENTITY THEFT 

A victim living in the 3300 block of Cornell Avenue stated that she received a letter from a credit union and believes that someone has been using her information without permission. 


FEBRUARY 22 


DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY 

At approximately 2:31 AM, an officer was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision in the 3700 block of Mockingbird Lane. A vehicle had been traveling east down the road when it came into contact with a tree in the parkway. There is visible damage to the tree. The driver was injured and transported to the hospital. 

DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY 

Officers discovered the remnants of a motor vehicle collision while patrolling at 4:53 AM. The officers found debris scattered around the area, as well as a damaged tree. Photos were taken. 


FEBRUARY 23 


BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

At approximately 7:39 AM, an officer met with a victim in the 3600 block of Shenandoah Street who stated that his vehicle had been broken into while it was parked on the street. There was damage to the rear window latch and several items had been removed. 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

An officer responded to a call of a BMV in the 3800 block of Shenandoah Street at approximately 7:53 PM. The victim stated that his car had been parked outside of his in-laws' house when it was broken into. There were no signs of forced entry, but the vehicle's built-in consul controller with navigation had been removed. 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

A victim stated that someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked in front of her residence in the 3400 block of Potomac Avenue between the hours of 8:55 PM the night before and 8:18 AM the next morning. There were no signs of forced entry, but the door was left open after the burglary. The touchscreen center consul controller was taken, as were a pay of sunglasses. 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

A victim stated that his vehicle was parked in front of his residence in the 3500 block of Drexel Drive when it was broken into overnight. There was damage to the window latch and the center consul controller with navigation was taken. 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

Between 12:00 PM on February 22 and 7:00 AM the next day, a victim's car was broken into in the 3800 block of Maplewood Avenue. An unknown person removed the vehicle's built-in navigation system. 

DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY 

At approximately 2:41 PM, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Eastern Avenue. A tractor and trailer appeared to be stuck in the intersection. The tractor had struck a fire hydrant while attempting to turn, and the water department was notified. 


FEBRUARY 24 


UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE 

The victim stated that on February 23, he hosted a party for his boss in the 4300 block of Lakeside. He left the party to go to a followup event in Dallas at approximately 11:00 PM. He then returned to the location of the party at 2:00 AM, parked his car, and went to another friend's house via his skateboard. When he returned to pick up his vehicle at 3:25 PM, he noticed it wasn't where he had left it. He could find no evidence indicating that it had been towed and no one admits to having used it. 


FEBRUARY 26
 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

At approximately 1:45 PM, an officer was conducting a routine patrol when he alerted that a vehicle had been found with its rear hatch window open. The vehicle was located in the 3700 block of Potomac Avenue. The third-row seat had been taken, and the victim stated that he last used the vehilcle at 8:00 PM on February 25 to go to dinner. Someone broken inwithout his knowledge or consent.
