FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
An approximately 3:42 PM, officers arrived at the 4000 block of Colgate Avenue in regards to a report of identity theft. A report was filed.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
An unknown woman entered a Tom Thumb grocery store at approximately 5:10 PM and left without paying for the items. The action was labeled as theft.
FEBRUARY 20
BURGLARY OF BUILDING
At approximately 9:54 PM, officers were dispatched to the 6700 block of Snider Plaza in reference to a delayed report of a burglary. An investigation was begun and a report was filed.
CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE
An officer responded to an identity theft call in the lobby of the police station located at 3800 University Boulevard. A complainant stated that someone used her credit cards to purchase items online without her knowledge or permission.
FEBRUARY 21
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A victim living in the 3400 block of Westminster Avenue usually keeps her large coin collection in a safe, but she had it under her bed while she was working on calculating it. During this time, construction work took place throughout the house, including in her bedroom. The coin collection is now gone and appears to have been stolen.
FEBRUARY 23
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
Officers were called to assist a Texas State Trooper on Larchmont Avenue who located a female subject in possession of controlled substances at approximately 4:50 PM.
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING
Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Daniel Avenue in regards to a possible case of criminal trespass.
FAILURE TO GIVE INFORMATION OR RENDER AID
A victim's vehicle was struck from behind by an unknown suspect while stopped at a red light. The suspect then fled the scene without leaving information behind. The incident occurred at 4:03 PM in the 4300 block of University Boulevard.
