DECEMBER 27

FRAUDULENT USE OR POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

An officer was dispatched to the 4700 block of Drexel Drive in response to a report of Forgery of Financial Instrument. The victim stated that another person had cashed a check in her name without her permission or signature. $1,000 was withdrawn from her account by the unknown suspect.

FAILURE TO LEAVE ID AT ACCIDENT

At approximately 10:55 AM, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of Greenway Boulevard and Montrose Drive in regards to a minor accident that occurred nearby. The victim stated that an unknown driver failed to stop after they struck her vehicle while she was stopped at a red light. The unknown suspect then fled the scene without providing information or rendering aid.

DECEMBER 28

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

A victim stated that someone entered his vehicle without permission between 4:00 PM the previous day and 7:30 AM the next morning. The incident occurred while the vehicle was parked outside of his residence in the 4300 block of Lorraine Avenue. There was no sign of forced entry and nothing seemed to be missing, but the glove box and center console had clearly been disturbed.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

At approximately 3:48 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 4500 block of Abbott in response to a reported theft of property. The victim stated that she had allowed a friend of her daughter (a senior in high school) to live in her residence because he was kicked out of his own home. However, she eventually kicked the boy out of the house and his backpack was left inside. The victim then discovered several pieces of jewelry in the boy's backpack and noticed others were missing from her home (totaling over $4,200), so she called the police.

DECEMBER 29

FOUND PROPERTY

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Lomo Alto Drive where the manager of a building stated that some employees found a small bag of white powdery substance. The substance had a positive color test for cocaine and was booked into evidence. There are no suspected owners of the property at the moment.

DECEMBER 30

THEFT OF PROPERTY

At approximately 11:00 AM, an officer was dispatched to the lobby of 4700 Drexel Drive on a report of a wallet that was stolen at the HPSV. The victim stated that an unknown suspect stole her wallet between 9:30 PM and 10:10 PM on December 29 while she was at a bar. Though it is possible that the wallet was stolen previous to her entrance at the bar, all the signs point to that as the location of the crime.
