INFORMATION REPORT
At 5:56 PM, two officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 3500 block of Beverly Drive. The victim stated that she had recovered her car that had been taken accidentally to a Carmax by a towing company. She had originally filed a report with the police stating that the vehicle had been stolen, but after speaking with the towing company labeled the whole thing as a misunderstanding.
JANUARY 18
ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
At 9:22 AM, an officer responded to the 4700 Drexel Drive lobby in reference to a walk-in report of an accident. The victim stated that her vehicle had been legally parked in the 4500 block of Bordeaux Avenue when it was damaged. Whoever inflicted the damage failed to leave behind any information.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
An officer spoke with a victim in the 4700 Drexel Drive lobby. The victim stated that she ordered something from Amazon and the package was never delivered. It appears that someone may have stolen the package.
JANUARY 19
THEFT OF PROPERTY
At 10:27 AM, an officer responded to the HPDPS lobby to speak to a victim who stated that an unknown person had taken property from her front porch. Police made an arrest for the theft and recovered some of the property, which was returned to the victim.
JANUARY 20
THEFT OF PROPERTY
At approximately 11:20 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 4300 block of Arcady on a report of theft from a residence during open houses in November and December. The victim stated that her residence was for sale, and they had several open houses over the past two months. When she was packing her things, she realized some property was missing.
BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE
An officer was dispatched to the 4400 block of Rheims Place on a report of a BMV that occurred overnight. The victim stated that sometime between 5:30 PM the evening before and 8:00 AM the next morning, someone entered her unlocked vehicle without permission. Only a pair of glasses was taken.
