OCTOBER 9

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 9:00 AM, a 43-year-old female victim discovered that a bicycle had been taken without permission from her residence in the 4300 block of Greenbrier Drive. 

FORGERY OF FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT 

A young woman lost her cell phone in Las Vegas, and it appears that an unknown person accessed it and her information. The unknown individual has now changed all of the victim's passwords and accessed her bank account without permission. The victim lost the phone on October 6 and became aware of the issues at approximately 4:35 PM three days later. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A resident in the 4000 block of Windsor Avenue reported that his vehicle was burglarized while it was unlocked and parked outside of his home. The incident occurred between 9:30 PM the night before and 8:00 AM the next morning. 


OCTOBER 10 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An unknown suspect took a boy's bike from inside a fenced residence in the 2700 block of Amherst Street. The theft occurred between 10:00 PM on October 5 and 9:00 AM on October 7. 

CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE 

A subject purchased three items of jewelry (worth more than $5,000) in the 6600 block of Hillcrest Avenue. The transaction was later denied by the credit card company. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

At approximately 9:58 PM, a police officer was dispatched to a residence in the 3900 block of Purdue Street in regards to a reported identity theft. The victim advised the officer that an unknown suspect had used his identifying information to obtain credit with multiple businesses without consent. 


OCTOBER 11

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A victim was trying on clothes in a retail store located in the 4000 block of Northwest Parkway at approximately 2:40 PM. He believes his wallet was stolen while he was there. 

FAILURE TO GIVE INFORMATION/RENDER AID 

Two victims were involved in a hit and run at the intersection of Preston and McFarlin at approximately 9:43 PM. 


OCTOBER 14

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

Two victims parked their vehicles in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 6400 block of North Central Expressway. At some point, an unknown suspect broke the rear windows of both vehicles to gain entry. Property was taken without consent from both vehicles. 

FICTITIOUS LICENSE/UNDER 21

At approximately 3:52 AM in the 3400 block of Brentwood, a suspect provided a fictitious driver's license when asked. 


OCTOBER 15

BURGLARY OF HABITATION 

A victim stated that an unknown suspect had entered the attached garage of his residence in the 3400 block of Lovers Lane. The suspect had also removed a boy's bicycle without permission.
