OCTOBER 23

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

A victim stated that an unknown person entered his vehicle while it was parked in the 3200 block of Milton Avenue and damaged his ignition between 4:00 PM on October 22 and 8:00 AM on October 23.

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An officer responded to a theft call at the CVS in Snider Plaza. Reportedly, one Hispanic male and two Hispanic females entered the store and stole a large amount of makeup. The three suspects exited the store without paying for any of the items at approximately 1:00 PM. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A caller reported that an unknown person stole the third-row seat of her vehicle without permission. The incident occurred while the vehicle was parked in the 2700 block of Stanford Avenue between 8:00 PM on October 21 and 8:00 AM the next morning. 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE 

At approximately 8:43 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 8300 block of Preston Road in regards to a delayed report of a stolen vehicle. The officer spoke with the victim who stated that between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, someone had forced entry into his vehicle and removed it from the property without consent. 


OCTOBER 24 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A known contractor received payment for a job he did not complete but stated that he would return. He failed to return and complete the job. The incident occurred in the 4200 block of San Carlos Drive earlier in October. 


OCTOBER 25 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

An unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4300 block of Normandy Avenue and stole property between 10:00 PM on October 24 and 12:00 AM on October 25. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle and damaged the ignition while attempting to steal it. The vehicle was parked in the 4200 block of Normandy Avenue and the incident occurred between 9:00 PM on October 24 and 7:45 AM the next morning. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

Between 5:35 AM and 6:00 AM, an unknown suspect removed an iPhone from the complainant's gym bag at the YMCA in the 6000 block of Preston Road without consent. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

Credit cards were stolen from a purse inside a parked vehicle in the 2700 block of Rosedale Avenue. The theft occurred between midnight on October 24 and 8:20 AM the next day.

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A person reported that the tailgate was stolen from his company truck while the vehicle was parked in the 4500 block of Emerson Avenue between 7:00 PM on October 24 and 8:00 AM the next morning. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

A victim reported that someone accessed her accounts without permission to purchase items at approximately 7:25 AM. 


OCTOBER 27 

CITY ORDINANCE VIOLATION 

A subject was arrested in the 3200 block of Rosedale Avenue at approximately 2:36 PM for disorderly conduct and unreasonable noise. 

FAILURE TO GIVE INFORMATION OR RENDER AID 

At approximately 4:51 PM, officers responded to the 4000 block of St. Andrews in reference to a vehicle accident involving a stolen vehicle. A report was completed and the investigation is still ongoing. 


OCTOBER 28 

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING 

An officer was dispatched to a restaurant in the 6600 block of Hillcrest Avenue to deal with a former employee who was trespassing on the property. The subject was located and issued a trespassing warning at approximately 3:00 PM.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A victim left his vehicle in a parking garage overnight in the 4200 block of Emerson Avenue. At some point during the night, an unknown person stole his third-row seat. 


OCTOBER 29 

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID 

A driver was stopped for speeding in the 3800 block of Stanford Avenue. The driver was found to be operating on a suspended license with a prior conviction, so the individual was arrested and booked into the University Park jail.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A victim stated that an unknown person entered her vehicle without permission while it was parked in the 7700 block of Hillcrest Avenue. The victim's purse was stolen from the vehicle. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A victim stated that an unknown juvenile subject stole his hoverboard from his residence in the 6900 block of Vassar Drive between the hours of 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An unknown subject took a victim's bicycle without consent from a residence in the 4200 block of Normandy Avenue between 10:00 PM on October 28 and 12:30 PM the next day.
