AUGUST 6

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 

A driver was arrested for a DWI in the 5700 block of Lovers Lane and his vehicle was towed to an impound lot. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A tailgate was stolen off a victim's truck overnight in the 3300 block of Wentwood Drive. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

A complainant stated that an unknown subject threw a brick through her window in the 4200 block of University Boulevard. 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 

An officer conducting a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Stanford Avenue found the driver of a vehicle to be intoxicated. The driver was then arrested for DWI. 


AUGUST 7 

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA 

At 11:56 PM, officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Dyer Street in reference to suspicious activity. The reporting party was able to give a description of the vehicle and its subjects. Officers located the vehicle a short distance from the location and made contact with subjects. Upon further investigation, one subject was arrested and issued a citation. A report was also filed. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A resident reported that his car was burglarized during the overnight hours in the 4000 block of Hanover Street. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A complainant stated that an unknown person stole his pool heater at approximately 4:50 PM from his home in the 3800 block of Centenary Drive. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

At 6:40 PM, officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Purdue Street in regards to a report of fraud. A report was completed. 


AUGUST 9 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE 

An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle by unknown means and took the vehicle without the victim's knowledge or consent. It was parked in the 4400 block of Normandy Avenue when the theft occurred between 8:45 PM on August 8 and 10:00 AM the next morning. 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle and removed property while it was parked in the 4500 block of Normandy Avenue between 3:48 AM and 10:30 AM. The victim stated that no one had permission to enter his vehicle or take his property. 


AUGUST 10 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

A victim legally parked her vehicle in the 3300 block of Marquette Street overnight. An unknown suspect entered her vehicle and removed property. The victim stated that no one had permission to enter her vehicle or take her personal property. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A victim reported that Rolex watch was stolen from the 6600 block of Snider Plaza between 9:00 AM on July 20 and 8:00 AM on August 8. 


AUGUST 11 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A victim said that someone took the lug nuts off the rear wheels of his vehicle while it was parked in the 3600 block ofk Purdue Street between 6:30 AM and 6:35 AM. 

FRAUDULENT USE OR POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

A victim reported that an unknown suspect had used her social security number to open a new account in the victim's name without her consent. The incident occurred sometime between the beginning of the month and August 11. The victim lives in the 3700 block of University Boulevard.
