Your Kids Will Be Pumped About the New Movie Line-Up for This Fall

Doesn't it seem like the best family films come out every year between the beginning of school and the holidays? Here are some of the most exciting releases you and your children can look forward to over the next few months. Whether you're in the mood for magic or mystery, there's something on this list for everyone.

The House With a Clock in Its Walls - September 21

When 10-year-old Lewis goes to live with his uncle, he finds out that his new home isn't what it seems. The creaky house contains a mysterious ticking noise, and when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, he realizes that the town is full of witches and warlocks. Can this young orphan and his kooky uncle prevent the end of the world? Based on the popular book by the same name, this new film is sure to put your family in the mood for autumn and Halloween.

Smallfoot - September 28

What if humans are actually the mythical creatures in stories? This unique animated movie explores a group of Yetis who have heard the legends of "smallfoot," and when Migo finds a real-life hiker, things take a crazy turn. Starring big names like LeBron James, Zendaya, Channing Tatum, and James Corden, this kids movie looks like a quirky, fun ride.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms - November 2

You know the classic tale of Clara and her beloved nutcracker, but you've never seen it told quite like this. Clara soon finds herself in a strange parallel world where Phillip, a soldier, must help her retrieve a key that can bring peace to the land. The special effects are out of this world, and with Kiera Knightly playing the Sugar Plum Fairy, you must check this holiday film out.

The Grinch
- November 9

The story of Dr. Suess' Grinch has been told time and time again, but this year, it's getting an animated facelift. The creators of The Lorax and Despicable Me are giving this grumpy character a new burst of life just in time for holiday season. It stars Academy Award-nominee Benedict Cumberbatch as the bitter old Grinch and will take you right back to the Whoville you love from Dr. Seuss' classic tale.

The Crimes of Grindelwald
- November 16

If your family loved Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, then head to theaters in November to see the second installment in this wizarding series. This time, magizoologist Newt Scamander is back, and he's facing a whole new mound of trouble.

Ralph Breaks the Internet
- November 21

Ralph and Vanellope's worlds are about to get a lot bigger. In this sequel to the popular Wreck-It Ralph, the characters you know and love are adventuring into the deep world of the internet. Parents and kids alike will get a kick out of watching Ralph navigate online worlds and meet friends you might already know (ahem, maybe even some Disney princesses).
