In 2018, there are 40 million enslaved people in the world. Of those slaves, 2 million are child sex slaves and 300,000 of those victims are in the United States. Operation Underground Railroad, a non-profit organization, is striving to put an end to child sex trafficking.

Ever since 2013, O.U.R. has worked with anti-child trafficking organizations to make a difference. Most of their team consists of former CIA agents, Navy SEALs, Special Ops operatives and other experts who lead extraction efforts all over the world. So far, O.U.R. has rescued more than 670 victims and arrested 280 traffickers worldwide. To learn more about Operation Underground Railroad, visit ourrescue.org

Want to help O.U.R. put an end to child slavery and trafficking? Now is your chance. On Labor Day, September 3, runners and walkers from all over the DFW metroplex are gathering for the "Race to Stop Traffick" in Westlake. There will be a 1-Mile Fun Run, an officially-timed 5k race, activities for children, carnival games, live music and so much more. Click here to register for the event.

Even if you can't attend the event in Westlake, you can still make a difference by donating to the campaign page or spreading the word about O.U.R. Their goal is to raise $10,000 for the race to fund a rescue sting operation.
