UP POLICE BLOTTER: June 25 - July 1

JUNE 25 

FAILURE TO IDENTIFYING FUGITIVE INTENT 

A driver was stopped by police for no tail lights in the 7000 block of Turtle Creek Lane. The driver was then arrested for warrants, DWLI and failure to ID Fugitive Intent.  

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

At 9:21 AM, officers were dispatched to the 8000 block of Tulane in regards to a reported burglary of a motor vehicle. A report was filed. 

HARASSMENT 

A victim receiving harassing phone calls and messages from a pest control man filed a report with police. 


JUNE 26 


BURGLARY OF VEHICLES 

An offender observed inside a white pickup truck was found in possession of stolen binoculars. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A vehicle parked in the 3100 block of Amherst Street was burglarized between 4:30 PM on June 22 and 8:30 AM on June 26. 


JUNE 27 


DUTY ON STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE 

At 5:12 PM, officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident that occurred in the 6800 block of Hillcrest Avenue. Multiple parked unattended vehicles and a pole were struck and damaged by the collision. The offender fled the scene on foot without leaving his information, as required by state law. Officers located the offender and placed him under arrest. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

An unknown suspected smashed the passenger side front window of a victim's vehicle while it was parked in the 8300 block of Preston Road. The suspect then entered the vehicle and removed two laptops without permission between 6:40 PM and 9:26 PM. 


JUNE 30 


BURGLARY OF HABITATION 

An unknown suspect entered the victim's garage in the 4000 block of Bryn Mawr DRive and stole several items at approximately 7:15 AM. 


JULY 1 


BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A report came to the police of a vehicle that had a busted window. An iPad was stolen from inside while the vehicle was parked in the 4200 block of Grassmere Lane between 12:05 PM and 1:35 PM.
