MARCH 26 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At 11:25 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 4700 block of Lakeside Drive on a report of a stolen bicycle. The victim stated that a white male took her husband's bicycle from the back garage of the residence without consent. The area was searched for the bike and/or suspect, but no evidence was found. 

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING 

An officer arrived in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue at approximately 4:15 in response to a burglary. The owner of the restaurant stated that between 1:00 AM and 9:00 AM, an unknown subject entered her restaurant and removed a safe containing thousands of dollars. All of the doors were locked and there were no signs of crime. No surveillance footage is available. 


MARCH 31 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

At approximately 8:39 AM, an officer responded to a call of BMV. The resident and victim stated that his vehicle was burglarized while parked facing north in the street in front of his apartment complex, which is located in the 4500 block of Abbott Avenue. Part of the vehicle's covering has been damaged and an item was stolen.
