SEPTEMBER 10 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At 5:52 PM, an officer responded to the Whole Foods parking lot in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive. The witness and store representative stated that he saw someone take store property without paying for the items. The suspects took off in a car with their items before they could be confronted. Descriptions of the suspects were given to the police. 


SEPTEMBER 11


THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At 5:13 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 4600 block of Mockingbird Lane in reference to a stolen vehicle report. The victim stated that an unknown suspect had taken his car without his consent while it was parked outside of his residence and the keys were inside the house. The vehicle was taken between 10:23 PM on September 10 and 4:15 AM the next morning. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

At approximately 11:58 PM, a victim reported that his vehicle was burglarized at the Dallas Country Club at approximately 11:38 AM on September 6. He stated that the vehicle was unlocked and that nothing appeared to have been taken, but he then found that his credit card had been used without his permission. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

An officer was dispatched to the 4400 block of Southern Avenue at approximately 1:17 PM. The caller stated that someone had stolen a package off her front porch on August 29. The package contained three golf apparel items. 


SEPTEMBER 12

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 3:43 PM, an officer responded to the lobby of the HPDPS for a walk-in report of a theft. The reporting person stated that a package was stolen off her front porch in the 3500 block of Normandy Avenue. The theft occurred after 12:33 PM when the package was delivered.  

BURGLARY OF BUILDING 

At 3:35 PM, an officer was dispatched to a construction site in the 4600 block of Edmondson Avenue. The reporting person stated that someone had removed property from the house without consent. The items taken are valued at a few thousand dollars. 


SEPTEMBER 14 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE 

An officer was dispatched to the 3500 block of Armstrong Avenue at 5:50 AM. A Dallas officer had come into contact with three youths. One of them was in possession of a vehicle key that had gone missing from another woman in the 4400 block of Bryon Avenue. The owner of the vehicle was notified. 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

At approximately 6:40 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 3500 block of Princeton Avenue in regards to a stolen vehicle. The victim advised the officer that he parked his car in the driveway of his residence at 9:30 PM. When he returned at 6:30 AM the next morning, the vehicle had been moved without his permission. 

FOUND PROPERTY 

While working as a uniformed off-duty security officer at the HPSV, an officer met with another officer in front of the Starbucks. An employee at a store gave the other office a ring that was turned in by a customer. It is a white metal ring with clear stones. It was booked into an evidence locker. 


SEPTEMBER 16 

THEFT OF VEHICLE 

An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Potomac Avenue at 9:47 AM on a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim stated that the day before at 9:00 PM, she parked her vehicle legally on the roadway in front of her residence. When she woke up at 9:00 AM, the vehicle was missing. 

LOST PROPERTY REPORT 

At 10:48 AM, an officer was dispatched on a lost smartphone call. The officer arrived in the 4500 block of Livingston and met with the reporting person, who stated that he was picked up by an Uber he had ordered on his phone at Love Field Airport. When he arrived home, he realized his phone had been misplaced. He used "Find My iPhone" and determined that the phone was in the Uber car he called. He called Uber and they said they would contact the driver, but the owner has not heard back in three days.
