Ambassador Football founded in 1990 in Bolton, England continues worldwide offering football camps, clinics, international tours and major event ministries at the World Cup and Olympic Games. They are bringing national and international coaches to the new soccer field at Stepping Stones Church of McKinney for a soccer camp July 26-30th from 9 am to noon for ages 4-12. Stepping Stones Church is a new church in northwest McKinney siting on 36 country acres at 6828 CR 202 just one mile from the Trinity Falls Development. Earlier this year, the church converted a hayfield into a soccer field. This required a large number of hours from volunteers as they first prepared the field. Although expensive, the church had specialty sod put in and then spent and continue to spend countless hours watering the field. The church family recently walked across the field praying and dedicating it to be used to impact young lives with the positive message of Jesus Christ.
Stepping Stones Church was founded and is led by Pastor Jeff Nyberg, Ph.D. Three years ago, the church built a beautiful country chapel in front of the century old barn on the property. With a firm conviction that believers are to weekly gather to worship, Pastor Jeff led the congregation to immediately start holding drive-in worship service when the pandemic hit. As a result, the church doubled in size and is now building a 16,000 square foot Christian Life Building to accommodate the growth. The church meets for worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM.
