The PREP School of McKinney is quickly approaching its third anniversary and is planning a Family Fun Festival to celebrate! This free event is open to the public and will be held Saturday, November 12th from 3:00 PM -5:00 PM at 5317 W. University Dr. The celebration will feature family-friendly games, activities, food, and a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting an Army Platoon stationed overseas. "We are thrilled to be a part of the McKinney community and what better way to say thank you than to host a family friendly event and help raise money to purchase care package goodies and Yeti coolers for our service men and women," says owner, David Golden. "Our management team will also be available for school tours and to provide information packets as well, if you are interested in learning more about The PREP School."

The PREP School of McKinney opened its doors in November of 2013 and enrollment has been steadily increasing ever since. Nestled in the back of the Wilson Creek Medical Park directly across University from Baylor Scott & White Hospital , it is clear from the moment you first see the building that this is a school unlike any other. Once you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a magnificent view through the foyer and glass doors which overlook the outdoor classroom and splash pad. Just beyond the outdoor playgrounds is a sprawling green belt and nature area. As you walk the halls, you encounter lively hues of blue, green, and orange. You also hear the mix of music, which we all know facilitates children's development, and the joyful noises of children learning. Each classroom is stocked with developmentally appropriate toys and activities to enhance the student's learning environment as well as a number of award-winning curriculums. Additionally, The PREP School boasts enrichment classrooms such as an outdoor classroom, art room, an indoor gym, and a tech room with multi-touch whiteboard technology!

As word continues to spread about this state of the art preschool, The PREP reports that they are now enrolling at lightening speed. " We are excited about all of the new children who have joined our PREP Family!" states PREP Director, Sarah Krist.
