Trinity Falls is mixing fitness and fun during its St. Patrick's Day Festival and 5K run Sunday, March 5.

The event, which also includes a 1K fun run, will be noon to 4 p.m. at 1200 Sweetwater Cove. Lads, lassies and leprechauns will enjoy live entertainment from McKinney’s Philip Brumley and a kids’ zone will include bounce houses and a face painter. TUPPS Brewery will host a beer garden and mobile eateries Ruthie’s Food Truck and Kona Ice also will be on hand.

Registration is ongoing at https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=126196. Cost is $35 for the 5K and $15 for the 1K race. The first 100 to register receive a free event shirt.

A shuttle also will take event goers to six model homes open in Trinity Falls’ River Park neighborhood. Builders Ashton Woods Homes, Beazer Homes, Emerald Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Meritage Homes and Plantation Homes offer designs priced from the $300,000s. Residents enjoy an array of amenities, including a clubhouse, beach-entry pool, splash area, tricycle racetrack, playgrounds and an open-air pavilion anchored by a stone fireplace.
