11 Model Homes Coming to Trinity Falls This Summer

(McKinney, TX Aug 15, 2019)   —            Nearly all of 11 new model homes coming this summer have opened in Trinity Falls as the McKinney-area community increases the variety of homes available.

Highland Homes and Perry Homes have each opened a model home in Trinity Falls’ newest neighborhood, Forest Ridge. Highland opened Plan 274 at 917 Lost Woods Way showcasing 12 floor plans for 70-foot homesites. The builder’s pricing for this collection of homes ranges from $490,000s to the $600,000s.

Perry Homes’ Design 2944 is the builder’s third model home in Trinity Falls. The newest model, at 905 Lost Woods Way, represents designs built for 60-foot homesites. The homes are priced from the $400,000s to the $500,000s.

Also open is the first of two model homes for 40-foot properties. Plantation Homes is featuring its Aubrey design as its model home at 8325 Oak Island Trail. Priced from the $270,000s, this series of five floor plans range from 1,807 to 2,781 square feet. Highland Homes also is offering homes for 40-foot homesites with 12 plans priced from the $280,000s. The builder’s model should open in about a month.

“This is a new type of home for Trinity Falls,” said General Manager Robert Ditthardt. “They will have rear-entry garages allowing for a very different streetscape.”

The two builders have a total of 94 40-foot homesites. Presales have been strong, Ditthardt said.

“Homes have been selling quickly and the Realtor community has been very interested in having homes available at this price point,” Ditthardt said. “McKinney was recently ranked No. 9 in the nation for first-time homebuyers and has the nation’s No. 1 real estate market, according to WalletHub. Having the varied product line that we do supports that type of vigorous market.”

Drees Custom Homes has opened a model for 60-foot properties priced from the $410,000s. Del Webb — which is introducing something else new for Trinity Falls — hosted a ribbon-cutting Aug. 1 for its six model homes showcasing floor plans for active adults age 55 and older. Del Webb’s pricing is from the mid $200,000s.

“Del Webb also has been selling well since pre-sales began,” Ditthardt said. “We had a number of current residents inquire immediately for their parents as soon as Del Webb opened their sales trailer.

“With these new additions to Trinity Falls and the others still yet to come, Johnson Development has created a community that serves the full range of home buyers.”

The Forest Ridge neighborhood will have more than 800 homesites and the Del Webb community will be home to 537 families. There are just more than 1,000 occupied homes currently in Trinity Falls.
