Trinity Falls will host canines and their human parents at Doggie Day Camp from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28.

The Fido-friendly, free festivities will include pet adoptions, a bounce house, a DJ and more. Event-goers can meet at The Club, 7801 Trinity Falls Parkway, to board shuttle buses to the development’s new dog park, Dog Den Park, where the festivities will be held. Dogs must be leashed.

A highlight will be the online cute canine contest taking place the day of the event showcasing picture perfect pups. To enter, owners need to check in at Trinity Falls, take pictures of their dressed-up dogs and post them to the Trinity Falls Facebook page, www.facebook.com/TrinityFallsTX, using the hashtags #TrinityFallsFun and #DoggieDayCamp. The winner will be announced in the afternoon and awarded a $100 Petco gift card.

“Pup parents don’t need to post ‘paw-fessional’ level photographs in order to win,” said Jessica Zeeb, marketing manager for Trinity Falls. “We just want to see how doggone cute their precious pups are. It’s going to be a fun day, and we invite everyone to camp it up with us.”

Various pet-related vendors also will be present offering vaccinations, wellness exams, microchipping and more.

Doggie Day Camp is one of three activities Trinity Falls is hosting during the DFW Showcase Tour of Homes. Sponsored by Trinity Falls developer Johnson Development, the tour offers the public a chance to visit more than 20 professionally decorated model homes, as well as participate in a slew of events in two Dallas-Fort Worth communities.
