Trinity Falls Names Mike Herman New Director of Fun

Trinity Falls has appointed Mike Herman to spearhead resident activities in the McKinney-area master-planned community.

As Trinity Falls’ Director of Fun, Herman will be responsible for planning and coordinating social programs, clubs and events exclusively for residents.

“I’m excited to be here, learn about the community and get to know the residents,” said Herman. “I want to host something for everyone. I hope to engage as many residents as possible and enhance their social interactions.”

A native of Salem, Mo., Herman brings a wealth of experience to his new position, most recently as the programs and facilities supervisor for the city of Wilton Manors, Fla. There, he oversaw rentals, facilities, fees and policies as well as managed large special events and holiday functions.

As the recreation coordinator for athletics and aquatics for Brevard County Parks and Recreation in Florida, he supervised activities at 11 athletic parks, as well as designing and managing special events such as the annual Halloween and Valentine’s Day festivals.

“We are thrilled to have Mike on board with us here at Trinity Falls,” said Robert Ditthardt, general manager for the community. “The depth and breadth of his experience will boost the quality of life for our residents. He is creative, friendly and dedicated. We can’t wait to see what he has planned for us.”

Herman earned a bachelor’s degree in recreation, sports and park administration from Missouri State University. He also is certified as a personal trainer with the Aerobics and Fitness Federation of America and has extensive experience as a Red Cross lifeguard and water safety instructor. When not at work he enjoys hiking, sports, running and weightlifting.

Having previously spent seven years in Houston, he is excited to be returning to Texas and looking forward to getting to know Trinity Falls.

“It’s a beautiful property,” Herman said. “It’s filled with great amenities and is close to all the activities in downtown McKinney. It’s the best of both worlds.”

In addition to a full-time lifestyle director, Trinity Falls’ slate of amenities includes The Club at Trinity Falls with a beach-entry pool, pavilion with fireplace and a sunset terrace. The community offers many opportunities to interact with nature such as 20 miles of hike-and-bike trails, B.B. Owen Park and several lakes. Homes are priced from the $300,000s.
