The City of McKinney is offering free curbside Christmas tree pick-up to residents.  McKinney and IESI will pick up Christmas trees, poinsettias, natural wreaths and garlands in order to accomodate the city's green waste recycling program. Pick-up begins Monday, January 2 and lasts through Friday, Jan. 13.  Trees must be free of decorations and flocking or they will not be picked up.

In addition, the city will provide two drop-off recycling locations.  Bring clean trees that are free of ornaments and flocking to the Al Ruschhaupt Soccer Complex (1986 Park View Ave.) or to the water tower on the corner of Eldorado and Alma Rd. in Gabe Nesbitt Community Park.
